Tamara Lynn Cox, age 54, of Oscoda passed away on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016. She was born on Sept. 19, 1962 in Flint to David and Linda Bell. Tamara grew up in Oscoda and graduated from Oscoda Area High School in 1980. Tamara was a secretary for Oscoda Area Schools for 23 years. She enjoyed gardening, camping, traveling, reading and she loved to bake and cook for any occasion. Tamara is survived by her loving husband, Mark Cox; daughters, Lauren and Kaitlyn Cox of Oscoda; parents, David and Linda Bell of Oscoda; and brothers, David (Tammy) Bell and Rod (Lisa) Bell. The family will welcome friends at 5 p.m. until the time of service beginning at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20 at the American Legion in Oscoda.
