Tamika Jenkins, 36, of Burke, Virginia, passed on July 31, 2021. Tamika was born on May 12, 1985.

Tamika was born on May 12, 1985 to Tonia Carter and Martin Jenkins Sr. at Columbia Hospital for Women in Washington, DC.

Tamika was educated in the District of Columbia School System and graduated from Spingarn High School in 2003.

After graduating she furthered her studies at the University of the District of Columbia which she recieved her bachelor's degree in social studies.

Tamika accepted Christ at a very young age at Deliverance Church of Christ in Capitol Heights, MD. This was the beginning of her long running service in ministry and she served with honor and integrity. Tamika loved everyone; there were no strangers around her. She connected with so many and once she did, you became family.

Tamika moved to Burke, Virginia and worked as an office assistant in various places. The Burke Virginia School system would be her last place of employment. Tamika was blessed with two children Michelle Jenkins and Daniel Jenkins.

Tamika passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 31, 2021. At the time of her passing she was attending George Mason University and was also a Minister in Training at Fellowship Baptist Church.

Tamika leaves to cherish her memories her children Michelle and Daniel Jenkins; her parents Tonia and Martin; six uncles; three aunts; 17 siblings; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives, close family and friends.
