This obituary is administered by:

In Loving Memory

Tamra Kay Davis, age 61, of Commerce City, Colorado, peacefully entered the gates of heaven, on July 16, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. She fought hard but her journey was cut short, leaving family and friends in grief and disbelief. Her passing has left a void that can never be filled.

She was born on August 30, 1961, in Longmont, Colorado, to proud parents, Douglas and Helen Corcilius and later grew up in Westminster, Colorado. Tamra is survived by her spouse, Douglas Davis, and her daughters, Kimberly Miranda and Jennifer (Edward) Madrid. She was also a proud grandmother to Mariah (Tayan) McClatchey, Jacob and Alana Madrid, Adrian and Jaden Miranda, and great-grandmother to Kleo Juniperose McClatchey. Tamra is also survived by her mother, Helen Corcilius and brother, Steven Corcilius, and her beloved pets, Buddy and Bella. She was preceded in death by her father, Douglas Corcilius.

Tamra was a bright and beautiful light in the lives of those around her. Known for her overflowing kindness and compassion that brought joy and hope wherever she went. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. She was a dedicated, loving and kind woman that had a playful spirit, who was a supportive listener and a great storyteller too. Tamra had a deep love for her family and gave the most amazing hugs. She took pride in looking stylish no matter the occasion and was also an exceptional baker and cook. Despite facing struggles and pain in life, she remained hopeful and strong in her faith.

While growing up, Tamra always had an adventurous spirit and was eager to try new things. She learned to camp and fish and often wanted to do the things her older brother got to do. She was married on July 20th, 1979 to Douglas Davis, whom remained her friend even after their separating.

In her free time, Tamra enjoyed listening to and watching music videos, dancing, and being a fan of the show General Hospital. She found joy in keeping a tidy space and loved building beautiful wood-burning fires when possible. She found solace in the warm sunshine and treasured time spent with her family, also found joy in a warm cup of coffee, often while bird watching and always appreciated all the beauty of nature.

Tamra cherished many memorable moments, including road trips to new places, long drives with family, mountain getaways, picnics, holidays and special occasions, and unforgettable family game nights. She took immense pride in her role as a grandmother, celebrating a grandson's graduation in 2020, a granddaughter's wedding in 2021, and was so excited to be a great-grandmother for the first time in 2022.

Tamra will forever remain an eternal source of light and love. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, pets, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She would want us to remember all the great memories we have of her and hold them dear to us. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and resilience that will continue to inspire generations. May her sweet spirit continue to guide and comfort us in our times of need. She will always be a special part in all of our hearts!

You are not forgotten, loved one, nor will you ever be. As long as life and memory last, we will remember thee.

We miss you now, our hearts are sore. As time goes by, we'll miss you more.

Your loving smile, your gentle face, no one can fill your vacant place.

A private memorial service will be held to celebrate Tamra's life and honor her memory.
