Tanger R. Whitt was born to the late Jean Williams and Paul Williams on August 10,1964, in Alabaster, Alabama. She attended Alabaster School System. She was known as Tonya 

She was a housewife to five children 

Tanger departed her life on Saturday September 21, 2019 at her home surrounded by family and friends. She will forever be in hearts and minds of those whose lives he touched. 

She was preceeded in death by her parents, Jean Williams and Paul Williams , her brother-in-law George Darwin

Tanger leave to cherish her loving memories: Five children- daughters Jane P. Moreland (Derrius), Jessica M. Williams, sons ,Antione Sanders (Chedritta), Joe Sanders (Kelly) and Marcus Sanders, six grandchildren Melissa Sanders, Antione Sanders Jr, Kisten Moreland, Micheal Williams, and Janisha Williams, and Tonya Jackson, sisters Rena Darwin, Denise Williams, brothers Anthony Williams(Patrice), a host of nieces and nephews and a special friend Terry Jackson.
