A life well lived

Tanisha Ann Agnew, 38, of Hoover, Alabama, passed away on December 16, 2024. She was born on February 15, 1986, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Tanisha was a devoted mother to her beloved daughter, Alanna Agnew. She shared her life with her devoted companion, Bobby "Booshay" Smith. Tanisha is also survived and lovingly remembered by her brother, Donell Gustain Jr.; three sisters, Zipporah Agnew-Francis, Valinda Agnew-Wade (Jeromy), and Trelynn Agnew-Wade; and her aunt, Rebecca Hill.

Known for her kind and caring nature, Tanisha touched the lives of many who knew her. She was a dedicated member of The Church of the Highlands and found strength and community in her faith. Professionally, Tanisha excelled as a manager at Outback Steakhouse and was eagerly anticipating the opportunity to manage her own store in the near future.

Tanisha’s memory will be cherished by all who knew her. We will miss her dearly but take comfort in the fact that she is now in a better place, free from pain and suffering. May her soul rest in eternal peace and may her legacy of love and kindness continue to inspire the family and friends she leaves to mourn behind.
