We are saddened to announce the passing of Tara Edmonds, who was born on November 5, 1970, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Tara peacefully passed away on May 16, 2024, due to natural causes.

Tara, the beloved daughter of John Perry Sr and Annette D Edmonds, leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. She was a devoted mother to her four children, Sade Edmonds, Atlantis Jernigan, Warren Jernigan, and Raven Jernigan.

Tara was a proud graduate of Booker T Washington High School, Class of 1989. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, playing phone games, and watching videos.

Though Tara is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She leaves behind eight cherished grandchildren.
