On February 3, 2025, the world lost a bright light with the passing of Tarcha Lawson-Issa, who was born on September 18, 1972, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Known for her infectious laughter and warm smile, Tarcha touched the lives of all who knew her.

In 2009, Tarcha married her beloved spouse, Alhousseini Issa, and together they welcomed their daughter, Tameka Lawson. Tameka studied at Western Hills High School before continuing her education at the University of Cincinnati. Tameka followed in her mother's footsteps, working at Good Samaritan Hospital as an LSW and volunteering with various organizations such as Freestore FoodBank, Toys for Tots, and Thanksgiving Exchange for Families.

Not only was Tarcha a devoted wife and mother, but she was also an active member of the community. She served as a Parent Liaison for Phi Delta Kappa Incorporated, Tyehimba, and The City Gate Organization. In her free time, Tarcha enjoyed line dancing, skating, exercising, thrift shopping, and most of all, spending time with her family.

Although she may be gone, Tarcha's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
