Teresa Sanger Campbell1924 - 2015Teresa Sanger Campbell, 90, passed away peacefully at home on Jan. 17, 2015. Terry was born on Dec. 8, 1924, in Beaufort, S.C., the daughter of Joe and Minerva Sanger. Shortly thereafter, the family moved to San Angelo.She married Thomas B. Campbell on August 8, 1945. After the war, they settled in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where they owned the Coca-Cola Bottling Co. (Kenosha-Racine) and Kenosha Rambler car dealership. Later they moved to Boca Raton, Florida. After Tom's death in 2001, Terry moved back to San Angelo. Among her many interests, Terry enjoyed deep sea fishing, doing crossword puzzles, and reading.She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, her sisters Josephine Wolslager and Margaret Sanger, her sons Tom Campbell, Jr., and Jim Campbell, and her daughters Carole Campbell and Peggy McDade. She is survived by her sons Bill (Therese) Campbell of Duluth, Minn., and J. Joseph (Marian) Campbell of Jupiter, Fla., eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral Mass will be on March 10, 2015, at Holy Angels Catholic Church in San Angelo, with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice San Angelo. The family thanks Fay Hatten, Kay Scott, Jane Jacks, J. W. and Jodie Wolslager, and Hospice San Angelo for their loving care of Terry during her final years.
