Terrance (Terry) L. ScottRedding, CAFifth generation Shasta County resident Terrance (Terry) L. Scott passed from this earth on January 3rd, 2017 at Mercy Hospital after a short illness.Terry was born on February 3rd, 1939 to Earl and Elinor Scott in Redidng, California. Terry graduated from Shasta High School in June of 1956 and entered the United States Air Force. Terry met and married Janice M. Tucker while serving at March Air Force base in July 1959.Terry returned to Redding in June of 1960 bringing his wife and baby daughter to live in Redding. He went to work at Boone's Wholesale, then worked for the State of California on a survey crew before starting his 33 year career with P.G&E. where he retired from in 1993.Terry was an avid outdoors man. He loved hunting, fishing and yard work. He was a member of Louderback's Black Powder Club and was an active Rendezvouser for over 30 years, putting on Mt. Man demonstrations for local schools and Boy Scouts. He loved setting up his tepee and demonstrating how the Mt. Man lived.Terry was preceded in death by his mother, Elinor, Father, Earl and brother, Gary. He is survived by wife, Janice, daughter, Debra Scott and son, Arthur Scott.
