CADET, MISSOURI - Terry G. Hurley, 73, passed away at 6:16 p.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2016, at the family home in Worden.
He was born on January 6, 1943, in Marion, Kentucky, the son of the late John and Ellen (Terry) Hurley. He married the former Norma Lee Johnson and she preceded him in death on November 20, 1980. He then married the former Marcella Stevenson and she survives.
Other survivors include five daughters and their spouses, Leslie and Tim Berkman of Worden, Kelly Hurley of Highland, Leah Pickett of New Douglas, MaryAnn and William Abeny of Maryville, Sherry Ann Hurley of Worden; a son and daughter-in-law, Neil and Regina Pickett of West Plains, Missouri; his grandchildren, Chelsea, Barbie, Kharma, Terry, Dakota, Georgia, Ethan, Ziah, Tristen, Cleriance, Meritce, Lilly, Madison; three great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Sam Sunley of Linn Creek, Missouri; and a brother, John Hurley of Kentucky.
He was formerly employed as an engineer at Kickham Boiler in St. Louis. He then was employed at Engineer Controls as an engineer. He enjoyed fishing. He was the world's best host.
In addition to his parents and his first wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Gene, Billy, Noel; and one sister, Jo Lee.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. In celebration of his life, memorial visitation will be from 5 p.m. until time of memorial services at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 25, 2016, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
