Terry Lee Motley was born in Fort Worth, Texas on January 8, 1958. He was a lifetime resident of Hurst, Texas. Terry graduated from L.D. Bell High School in 1976. He excelled in building trades and went to work in construction, specializing in carpentry, building Taco Bells, Furr's Cafeterias, KFCs and other businesses in multiple states. He passed away at his home on December 8, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his older brother, James Michael Motley. He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Nicole Motley; his parents, Al and Martha Motley; his sister Donna Bowling; two grandchildren, Chandler Highbarger and Breanna Highbarger; nieces Kristi Greenwell, Kara Nichols and Corine Motley; nephew, James Cory Motley; and numerous cousins.

His service is at 2:00 p.m. December 14, 2019 at Compass Christian Church, 2600 Hall Johnson Rd., Colleyville, Texas, officiated by Frank Nichols.
