CHURUBUSCO — Terry Pippenger, 67, of Churubusco, passed away at 7:10 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Mrs. Pippenger was born on Sept. 16, 1948, in Wolf Lake, a daughter of Lee and Gladis (Cole) Harlan. She graduated from Wawaka High School in 1966. On June 11, 1966, she was married in Kendallville to Ted Pippenger. She was employed at Noble Wire in Albion and retired in 2010. Mrs. Pippenger loved to play bingo and spend time with her family. The surviving relatives include her husband of 49 years, Ted Pippenger, of Churubusco; two daughters, Tammy (Matt) Boggess of Albion and Natalie Pippenger of South Bend; a brother, Ronnie (Norma) Harlan of Wolcottville; a grandson, Colton Boggess. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Lee Becker. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, with Bill Claxton officiating. The family will receive friends at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, or one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam.
