Terry J. WilsonGlen RockTerry J. Wilson, 65, died Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at his home following a brief illness. He was the husband of Valerie A. (Sweeney) Wilson. The couple celebrated a 10th wedding anniversary on March 26th. Terry was born on July 24, 1952, a son of the late James H. and Gem (McCann) Wilson. He grew up in Shrewsbury Township and graduated in 1970 from Susquehannock High School.He was a lifelong farmer and had worked as a loader operator with York Building Products for over 20 years, retiring this past July. Besides his wife, he is survived by two children, Lacey J. Gutman (Dr. Arie) of Miami, FL and Terry M. Wilson (Jen) of Glen Rock; step children, Scott Warfel (Jenna) of Red Lion and Shawn Warfel of York; six grandchildren, Aaron, Brayden, who lived with him, Benjamin, Mollie, Klara and Katie; a brother, Jim B. "Junior" Wilson of Glen Rock; three sisters, Linda A. Lawyer of York, Donna J. Gentzler of Manchester and Lucinda A. Donough of Port Royal, PA; and his four-legged friends, Cocoa and Reggie.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main St., Glen Rock, with the Rev. Douglas L. DeStephano, officiating. Burial will be at New Hope Fissels Church Cemetery. Viewings will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
