Thaddeus "Ted" Jankowski passed away at his home in Riverside, NJ. He will forever be remembered by his children Chelsea (Tim) Fingerhut, Jared Jankowski, and Courtney (Doug) Richardson, and by his grandchildren Alexis, Sierra, Brooke, McKenzie, Rody, and Sebastian. Ted will also be forever remembered by his brother Michael Jankowski, his niece Jennifer, his nephews Shane and Christopher, extended family, and dear friends. He was the son of the late Theodore and Antoinette Janksowski, and brother to the late Judith (nee Jankowski) Kurz.
Ted truly lived his life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with family and friends, cooking seafood meals, and sharing his love of animals and nature. He was always young at heart. He thoroughly enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and swimming and snorkeling at the beach when he could. No one who met Ted forgot his infectious passion for music whether it be dancing to it, playing an instrument, or singing in or with the band. Ted had an uncanny ability to bring laughter to many that crossed paths with him throughout his lifetime. He had a tender heart and compassion for others.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. A memorial service will be held in his honor on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery Chapel, located at 350 Province Line Rd., Wrightstown, NJ 08562 promptly at 10:30 a.m.
