HESSELLThelma, (nee Spitz), 85, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2017 from complications of Alzheimer's. Thelma was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years Robert Hessell and parents Abraham and Ethel (Bloom) Spitz. Thelma was a devoted wife, loving mother, and super proud "Gram". Survived by daughter Allison (David) LeBuhn of Wyoming, OH, and son Eric Hessell of Cincinnati. Two beloved granddaughters, Elizabeth and Sarah LeBuhn of Wyoming, OH. Also survived by siblings Bob (Mimi) Spitz, Elaine Abrahams, and several nieces and nephews. Thelma was born on June 27, 1932 in Lynn, MA. She married her high school sweetheart, graduated from Salem State University and became a 1st grade teacher and reading specialist, serving hundreds of children in schools located in MA, OH and NM.
