UNION GROVE - Age 52,unexpectedly passed away at his residence on Thursday, February 7, 2013. Ted was born on July 5, 1960 to Walter and Joanne (nee Zachar) Goetz in Racine, WI. His early life was spent in the Kansasville area. Ted graduated from Burlington High School and then attended UW Oshkosh where he played football and majored in Business Administration. On January 11, 1997 Ted was united in marriage to Heather Norton in Union Grove. Following their marriage they resided in Union Grove where he was employed by Racine Grain Company. Ted was a member of St. Mary’s Dover, volunteered on the Kansasville Fire Department and served as the treasurer for the Knights of Columbus, Council 4106. Ted was an avid sports enthusiast and enjoyed watching his children participate in their sporting events. Ted is survived by his parents Wally and Joanne Goetz, his wife Heather, children: Jennifer Lambert, Hannah Beachem, Christopher Goetz and Caleb Beachem, his siblings: Raymond Goetz and Mary (Thomas) Vlasin. He is further survived by his in-laws, Juanita Norton and Jerry Norton, a brother-in- law Tony (Michelle) Norton and a sister-in-law Lisa (Bryan) Ray. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 11:00AM at St. Mary’s Dover with Fr. Robert Kacalo officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Sunday, February 10, 2013 from 2:00PM until 6:00PM at the Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home with a prayer vigil taking place at 6:00PM.
