Theresa Parsons of Newark, New Jersey, passed away on May 31, 2024, at the age of 79. She was born on November 2, 1944, and lived a full and vibrant life.

Theresa was known for her warm smile. She had a passion for cooking. Her infamous pea soup which was legendary among her friends and neighbors was a class act around the holidays. Teresa was a trained vocalist/singer. Among many talents, Teresa was an actor which made guest appearances on Law and Order as well as Mother Cried For Her Children (directed by Pastor Mattie Moulrie Wilson) Amongst a slew of career endeavors this extraordinary woman was certified in the health care industry as a H.H.A. Last yet certainly not least adding to this roster Teresa was a skilled 2nd degree brown belt,Teresa transported cars servicing as a (transporter/driver) for Hertz rental car company for many years; to top it all off Teresa managed Lat’s hair salon for 15 plus years which is how they built a lasting repor turning into a sisterhood lasting all of the remainder of Teresa’s life…

Theresa had a love for animals, especially her loyal dogs; Oreo and Poochie who were loyal companion's.

Theresa will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have crossed her paths.
