Here to mourn and celebrate the life of Theresa Martin, everybody's grandma... OUR grandma. Our friends' and even kids we've never met grandma too! We used to get a little jealous as kids, but we learned the way she loved all of us is what taught us to love so strongly. She taught us to think with our hearts, even during time when life was full of misery. She taught us to inspire youth and those around us. She also taught us that breaking a couple of rules every now and then never hurt nobody. We remember our visits to Chicago where grandma would always convince our mom to let us walk to the store... When she lived with us and would drive us to school with no license. She was the one to put a smile on our faces after a long day, the one who made extra food to include our friends when they didn't have anything to eat at home. She was also a walking karaoke. She was a lot to us, and she loved us... And we loved her. We just hope we can continue to love as effortlessly as she did.

WE ONLY WANTED YOU
They say memories are golden, well maybe that's true. We never wanted memories, we only wanted you. A million times we needed you, a million times we cried, if love alone could have saved you, you never would've died. God broke our hearts to prove he always takes the best. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place that no one can ever fill. If tears could build a stairway and heartache make a lane, we'd walk the path to heaven to bring you back the same. Our family chain was damaged, almost disconnected, but we're going to link it back together and wear it like a necklace!
Love your children, Escorina, Joseph, and Michael
