Surrounded by loved ones at her home, Theresa Miklinski Hahn, age 97, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2016. Theresa was born on June 30, 1919, in Erie, Pa. She was the eldest of eleven children of the late Alexander and Catherine Miklinski. Theresa is survived by siblings, Rosemary Hardin, Marg Cutri (Norman), Joan Tonge (Jim), Alexander, Annette Kruszewski (Wes), and many nieces and nephews. Theresa was the co-owner of the Avenue Theater, along with her husband Joseph Zebrezny in the 1950s. She also worked as a Head Cashier and eventually Assistant Manager of the Warner Theater in the 1960s, before retiring. Theresa was preceded in death by husbands, Joseph Zbrezny, Curtis A. Melter and Harry J. Hahn. Theresa leaves behind three daughters, Barbara Griebel, Carol Alexander and Sandra Pruyn (Dan), and three stepdaughters and a stepson, Marlene Anderson, Karen Berry, Mary Joan Koster and Harry B. Hahn. Theresa was the proud grandmother to Daniel Mulvihill (Peggy), Diane Crawford (Bob), David Griebel (Erin), Gary Griebel (Joanne), Cheryl Bukowski, and Lori Daniels. She also loved her six great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Theresa was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. Friends may call at the G. R. Bailey Funeral Home, 4396 Iroquois Avenue, Lawrence Park, Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday morning at St. Ann R.C.
