Therese M. Joslin, 85, of Rochester, died on Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, at her home. Therese Magdlene Klennert was born on June 17, 1931, in Lake City, to Frank and Regina (Laqua) Klennert. She attended Lake City schools and later moved to Rochester. In 1950, Therese began working at Saint Marys Hospital in the laundry department, where she worked for more than 42 years. On Oct. 29, 1953, she married James T. Joslin. In 1992, Therese retired from Mayo Clinic. She enjoyed gardening and motorcycling. Therese was a member of the Motor Maids Motorcycle Club which took her to places including Wyoming, Colorado and South Dakota. She was passionate for horses and dogs. She especially loved her family, her kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Therese is survived by her daughter, Cindy Pendergraft of Apex, N.C.; sons, James (Robin) of Dodge Center, John (Becky) of Byron and Greg Joslin of Putnam, Conn.; 11 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Therese was preceded in death by her husband, James, who died June 1967; and brothers, John, Mike and Thomas "Tom" Klennert.
