Thomas Jefferson was married to Martha Jefferson in 1772 and together they had nine children: Martha Jefferson Randolph, Madison Hemings, Jane Randolph Jefferson, an unnamed son Jefferson, Mary Jefferson Eppes, Lucy Elizabeth Jefferson I, Lucy Elizabeth Jefferson II, Harriet Hemings, and Eston Hemings.
Throughout his life, Thomas Jefferson served as the 3rd President of the United States. He had a wide range of hobbies including inventing, bird-keeping, astronomy, violin playing, architecture, horticulture, mathematics, obsessive book-collecting, reading, and cello playing.
