Thomas "Tom" M. EhlenbachMANSFIELD: Thomas "Tom" M. Ehlenbach , 59, of Mansfield, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017 at his home. Thomas was born on January 18, 1958 in St. Petersburg, Florida to the late Charles "Jake" and Garnet (Barker) Ehlenbach.Tom retired from Anchor Motor Freight where he had worked as a mechanic for many years. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Army. Tom was a genuine guy, always generous and thoughtful to others. He was an avid hunter and motorcycle enthusiast. Tom was a member of the Salineville Masonic Lodge #348, the VFW post 6345 in Mercer, PA., and the American Legion post 442 in Salineville.Tom is survived by his best friend, lifetime love and fiancé, Marianne Lee Nommay; Marianne's sons that he treated like his own, Gary (Amanda) Imhoff and Dustin (Sherri) Imhoff; eight grandchildren; a sister, Cecilia "Sue" (Jerry) Vona of Canfield; a brother, Nick Ehlenbach of Monument, CO; a former sister-in-law and good friend, Sharon Ehlenbach of Colorado Springs, CO; and five nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Brady Ehlenbach.A celebration of Tom's life will occur at a later date.
