STEVENSONThomas Eugene Thomas E. Stevenson, 79 years of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2016, in the Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek. Thomas was born on March 16, 1937 in Toledo, Ohio, to Thomas and Irene Stevenson. He was a graduate of Libbey High School and served in the United States Marine Corps from June 17, 1955 to April 1, 1959.Thomas was a Toledo Firefighter from December 28, 1964 until his retirement on March 16, 1989. He served at Station 9 for 15 years, Alarm Office for 5 years, Station 13 for one month and retired from Station 21 after five years.Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James and William Bacon, and his sister, Virginia Albright. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; children, Timothy (Dawn) Stevenson, Dennis (Diane) Stevenson, Kim Majerowski; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and his sisters, Nancy Foster and Beverly (Robert) Mauter.At Thomas's request, there will be no visitation; graveside services were private for the family.
