Thomas Fentress, 72, of Detroit, Michigan, passed Thursday, January 09, 2020. Thomas was born to the late Theodore Fentress, and Mable Jean Wardell, November 15, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan.

Thomas graduated from Central High School in 1965. Thomas worked at IBM as a Computer Analyst until he retired in 2005.

Staff Sargent Fentress served his country as a Cyber Operations Specialist in the United States Army for 15 years.

Thomas is survived by 3 children: Thomas J. Taylor (Ikeshia M. Taylor), Jonathan T. Taylor, and DeVon Fentress. He also is survived by 5 grandchildren; Shatoria Taylor, Tina Taylor, Jermiah Taylor, Faith Taylor, and Sha'Bria Taylor.
