WINNISQUAM – Thomas G. Beauchemin, 64, joined Our Lord in Eternity on his 27th Wedding Anniversary, Friday, Oct. 7, 2016.Tom was born on July 29, 1952, in Lowell, Mass., the son of Russell and Helen (Lapointe) Beauchemin.Tom grew up in Lowell, Mass. where he played the trumpet in both the family and school bands. He loved boating on Lake Winnisquam on the pontoon he named, "Driving Miss Lazy". He and his wife enjoyed cruising the high seas, musical theater and barbecuing with his family and his many friends.Tom spent his career selling cars for Lincoln/Mercury and Kia. Many friendships evolved from his devotion to his customers. Tom and Jan also owned Lakes Region Golf Cars in Tilton. He was a devout attendee of Laconia Congregational Church and a past member of the Concord Elks.Tom is survived by his loving wife Janice; his daughter, Crystal Frechette; and granddaughter, Lily. He is also survived his "little brother", Donald Frechette; and his five sisters, Nancy Beauchemin, Janet Ducharme, Maryann Beauchemin, Betty Ann Genge and Joan Grumette; as well as many nieces and nephews, including, Commander Kevin Ducharme of the U.S. Navy.Tom was predeceased by his parents and four brothers, Richard, David, James and Michael Beauchemin.A memorial service will be held on Friday, Oct. 14, at 12 p.m. at the Laconia Congregational Church with a luncheon to follow.The Mayhew Funeral Homes and Meredith Bay Crematorium are assisting the family with arrangements.
