Thomas L. "Tommy" Vance1958 - 2017Thomas (Tommy) Leon Vance, 59, of Molino, passed away Wednesday, January 18th, at home, surrounded by family and friends. Tommy was born on January 3, 1958 in Tampa, Florida, to Patricia and Homer Vance.Tommy was a longtime employee of Escambia County, Department of Roads and Bridges, as a Drainage Specialist Supervisor. He took pride in his work and loved golf, fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a doting "Pappy" to Noah, Nash and Maddy.Tommy is preceded in death by his parents; He is survived by his loving wife, Leslie Vance; sons, Jason and Joshua Vance; Christopher (Jennifer) Smith, and daughter, Kelly (Jarrod) Brown and grandchildren, Madeynne Smith, Noah and Nash Brown; brothers, Ronald (Brenda) Vance, Buddy (Irie) Vance of Pensacola; Stephan (Sherrill) Vance of Gulf Breeze; Danny (Kathy) Vance of Pace and sister, Joanne (C.J.) Coffman of Gulf Breeze; very special cousin Maury (Kathy) Anderson of Clinton TN, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.Visitation will be on Monday, January 23rd, from 6-8 p.m., at Rose Lawn Funeral Home, Gulf Breeze, Fl. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 24th, at Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church at 11:30 AM, officiated by Rev. Dan Morris, GBUMC, followed by interment at Rose Lawn Cemetery.
