Meyers, Thomas M.Thomas M Meyers, 77, Algoma, passed away unexpectedly, Thurs. April 13, 2017. He was born on September 18, 1939 in Algoma, to Leon and Ellen (Madden) Meyers. Tom graduated from the Algoma High School.Tom married Judith A. DeMarb on October 24, 1959 in Sturgeon Bay. He worked in a 3rd generation gas station with his brother Jim and his father, Leon.In his early years, along with his brother Jim, Tom was an avid drag racer. He was incredibly talented at restoring classic cars to the original glory - most recently, his prize winning 1957 chevy. Tom's true passion was spending time on the lake. Wherever there was water, you knew Tom would cast his fishing pole into it. Tom was a retire firefighter of 22 years and was a member of the Algoma Boat Club.Tom was a good man and was loved by all, especially his wife Judy; his children Debbie (Pat), Mike (Marie) and Tammy (special friend Steve); his eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; mother-in-law Frances DeMarb, brother Jim (Gloria) and sister Carol (Ken); numerous nieces and nephews.
