Meyer, ThomasThomas O. Meyer, 76, of Crivitz, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls. He was born on March 28, 1941, in Marinette, to the late Milton and Evelyn (Harley) Meyer. Thomas graduated from Marinette High School and enlisted in the Air Force. On December 24, 1960, he was united in marriage to Merrie England. During his service in the Air Force, they lived in New Haven, CT and San Angelo, TX. They later resided in Marinette, DePere, Shawano, the Town on Chase, and Crivitz. Thomas was a 30 year employee of Fort Howard Paper. He was an avid reader, loved playing golf, and enjoyed watching sports, especially his grandchildren and the Brewers. Thomas is survived by his children, Josh Meyer of Ogden, UT and Sara (Dan) Henrichs of Lena; grandchildren, John, Jenna, and Jackie; and sisters, Sue Spafford of Vermont and Jane Rohn of Nevada. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Merrie; and a son, Tommy. Friends and family are invited to commemorate and celebrate his life during visitation hours at Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home, Marinette, from 3 until 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, 2017. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Peshtigo.
