THOMAS R. BRITTINGHAM Thomas R. Brittingham, 61, was born on April 3, 1955, in New York City. He passed away peacefully on November 10, 2016. He moved to California with his parents as a young teenager and, when of age, he joined the U.S. Army and was stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington. Afterwards, he lived in Las Vegas, Utah and Montana, eventually settling down in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he made many good friends and soul mates. Tom was passionate about his many interests and was loyal to all he considered as a friend. He was a very wise loving spirit who enriched the lives of all he met with authenticity and humor. Tom was predeceased by his father, mother and sister, Joan. He is survived by his sister, Pat, and brother-in-law, Lou. His ashes will be scattered in the New Mexico wilderness, which he loved. For his friends: And now it is time for Tom to travel alone, and we must let him go He has so many things to see and do Above all, we must be happy of the time we had with him Though we can't see or touch Tom, he will be near And when it is our time to follow, he will greet us with a smile And we'll all be together again.
