Fanning, Thomas R. Sr.,85, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on August 9, 2017. He was born on March 4, 1932 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Thomas and Anna (Denver) Fanning. Tom was also preceded in death by his son, Robert John Fanning and sister Virginia Lubey (Walter). He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Maureen (Kennedy) Fanning, sons; Thomas R. Fanning, Jr. (Cindy), Timothy G. Fanning, Michael Peter Fanning (Christina), grandchildren Thomas Neil Fanning (Rachel), Patrick Sean Fanning (Elizabeth), Samuel Joseph Fanning, Logan Blake Sanders, Lucy Elizabeth Sanders, Michael Leo Fanning. He is also survived by his sister Maureen Ann McKenna (James). A celebration of Tom's life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
