Thomas R. Wheet, age 62, of Winchester, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at his residence. He was born on July 14, 1954 in Toledo, Ohio to Lon L. Wheet and Mildred (Nuhfer) Ball. He worked at the Aluminum Foundry in Winchester and was a former member of the Union City Eagles. He loved to make people laugh and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn (Schwiezer) Wheet of Winchester; three sons, Jasson (wife Julie) Huntwork of Union City, IN; Michael Huntwork of Hagerstown and Tom Frick of Toledo, OH; two daughters, Angelic (husband Jeff) Niedzienski of Dundee, FL and Nikki Hawkins of Greenwood, IN; 14 grandchildren; a brother, Larry Wheet of San Tan Valley, AZ; four sisters, Nancy (husband Frank) Osborne of Portsmith, OH, Cleo Wheet of Toledo, OH, Linda Fuller of Richmond, IN and Connie Carlisle of Arglolite, KY; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
