THOMAS W. GROVER 1952 - 2015Thomas (Tom) W. Grover, 63 of Weaubleau, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, November 4th 2015 at home after a short battle with colon cancer. Tom was born on January 24th 1952 in Safford, Arizona to Wert and Lorraine Grover. His family moved to the Wellton-Mohawk community when he was four years old. During his formative years he was an Boy Scout in the community and was awarded a medal in 1967 for saving the life of a drowning child in a drainage canal. After graduating from Antelope Union High School, in Wellton, Tom worked at McElhaney Cattle Company for a couple of years. Following in his father's footsteps he tried his hand at farming, but found his true calling when he decided to work for Yuma County Public Works as an equipment operator. During his vacation time, while working for the county, you could always find him hunting or fishing somewhere, one of his many loves in life. After more than 20 years of working for Yuma County, Tom decided he needed to move to Missouri to be closer to his children and grandchildren.Tom leaves his loving memory to be cherished by his wife, Cynthia Beadleson, his daughter Laurie Franklin, Kansas City, MO, two sons James Grover, Stockton, MO and John Grover, Webb City, MO. Eight grandchildren, Anthony Franklin, Sierra (Christain) Roustic, Jordan Grover, Desirae Grover, Devan Grover, Sabrina Fitzanko, Colby Grover, Kayla Grover, two great grandchildren Kodah Roustic and Skyler Fitzanko. His mom Lorraine Grover, Roll, AZ, and his two sisters, Sharon (Robert) Taylor, Roll, AZ and Lorra (David) Greene, Wellton, AZ as well as nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends that he loved and cared for dearly. Tom was preceded in death by his dad, Wert Grover. Per Tom's wishes, he will be cremated and his ashes will be spread in Missouri. His family will have an informal celebration of Tom's life at his mother's home, 38535 East County 6th St, Wellton, AZ on Saturday, November 14th 2015 at 2pm, for family and friends.
