It is with deep sadness and grief that we announce the passing of Tiana Brodie, who was born on October 24, 1929, and passed away on April 2, 2023, after a prolonged illness. Tiana was a beloved resident of Mandeville, Manchester, Jamaica, where she lived her life with grace, kindness, and generosity.

Tiana was an exceptional person who dedicated her life to the service of others. She was a gifted teacher at the local primary school, where she served for over 35 years. Her unwavering commitment to education and her tireless efforts to help her students succeed were admired and appreciated by all who knew her. Tiana touched the lives of countless children and families in the Mandeville community and beyond.

Aside from her work as a teacher, Tiana was also a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her twelve children, fourteen grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren. To them, she was a source of unconditional love, wisdom, and support. Tiana lived an exemplary life, and she instilled in her family values of compassion, perseverance, and faith.

Tiana will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved her. Her infectious smile, warm heart, and loving spirit will be remembered for years to come. We take comfort in the fact that she lived a long and fulfilling life, and that her legacy will endure through the lives of those she touched.
