KENDALLVILLE — Tim Addis, 52, of Kendallville died on Monday, July 27, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. He was born on Jan. 10, 1963, in Fort Wayne to Roger and Edith (Ditton) Addis. He was a lifetime area resident, marrying Diane Redfield on Sept. 2, 1989, at Lakeside Park in Fort Wayne. He was very involved in his community, including 2014 President of the Noble County Community Fair Corp., also serving as a longtime board member. He was active in many 4-H committees, including Horse & Pony, Poultry, Rabbit Committee, and 4-H Exhibit Corp. He was also director of the Noble County Saddle Club, board member of American English Spot Rabbit Club; a Scoutmaster and a member of the Scouting Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Addis was a member of the Albion Wesleyan Church and served as a member of the church board. He loved watching Komet hockey. Tim was strong in his faith, and had a strong sense of community. He is survived by his wife, Diane Addis, a son, Bryson Addis, and a daughter, Hope Addis, all of Kendallville; his father, Roger Addis of Churubusco, and his grandmother, Mary Ditton of Fort Wayne. Also surviving are his sisters, Karen (Ed) Harpel of Churubusco and Patricia Percey of Indianapolis; and five nephews, a niece, two great-nephews, and four great-nieces, all of Churubusco. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Paige Addis, and his mother, Edith. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2015, at Central Noble High School Auditorium, 302 Cougar Court, Albion, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m .on Friday, July 31, 2015, at Brazzell Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Albion.
