He was born on September 26, 1956 in Logan, Utah, to George Nathan "Nate" and Olivia Karren. Tim grew up in Utah enjoying the outdoors, riding his pony all through the summers and his snowmobile during the winter. He had such energy and a zest for life, everything was such an adventure. He and his family moved to Idaho in 1973 and began a new adventure. He graduated from Vallivue High School and continued his education at The College of Idaho. He married the love of his life Tammy Wood on May 23, 1982 embarking on yet another wonderful adventure of raising his family, his daughter Heather Ann Trent (Toby) and son Tyler J Karren (Kristal). Tim dedicated himself passionately to everything he did. While working for King Manufacturing he had opportunity to travel and enjoyed the experiences there. He later began working for Amalgamated Sugar Company working with the employee union there to make a better work environment for all. He retired last summer due to his health. He missed the social aspect of working but truly enjoyed being able to do whatever he wanted during those summer months. He took two hunting trips this last fall and as he sat on the mountain waiting for the elk he looked over the landscape and said he wished he could have just stayed in that moment. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved being in the mountains or on the bank of a lake with his son TJ and his son-in-law Toby. His four grandsons were the light of his life and he enjoyed spending time with them creating a bond that will last forever.
