Timothy Shorten, affectionately known as Timmy to his friends and family, passed away on July 15, 2024 in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 72. He was born on September 15, 1951 to proud parents Paul Shorten Sr and Linda May Shorten.

Timmy leaves behind a loving family, including his four children: Katrina, Timothy Jr, Darrel, and Mario. He was also a doting grandfather to 10 grandchildren.

Timmy graduated from Tremble Tec High School in 1969 and went on to have a successful career as an auto mechanic before retiring in 2005. He was known for his expert knowledge and friendly demeanor, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Timmy had a passion for cars and could often be found tinkering in his garage, surrounded by tools and parts. He had a special knack for fixing even the trickiest of problems, earning him a reputation as the go-to guy for car troubles.

Despite his illness, Timmy never lost his sense of humor or his love for life. He faced his battle with prostate cancer with courage and grace, inspiring all those around him with his positive attitude.

Timmy will be remembered fondly by all who knew him for his kindness, generosity, and infectious smile. He may be gone, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
