Tina Ann BottorffFeb. 3, 1962 - Nov. 26, 2016MISHAWAKA - Tina Ann Bottorff, 54, passed away at home on Saturday, November 26, 2016.Tina was born on February 3, 1962 in Prestonburg, Kentucky to James and Shirley (Powers) Banks. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dan Banks.On June 4, 1994 she married Neil Daniel Bottorff. He survives along with their children, Angela R. Reynolds of Mishawaka and Danyel Bottorff of Elkhart; grandchildren, Gracie and Kaden McDonald, Kiley and Claire Reynolds, Jacob, Madison and Kaylee Coillins; a sister, Serita (Dan) May of Milford, IN; and brothers, Bill Banks of Mishawaka, James “Buzz” (Michelle) Banks Jr. of Rolling Prairie, IN and Thomas Banks.Tina loved going bowling with family and friends. She was a professional house cleaner and ran her own company. Then she started working at the Humane Society, taking care of all the cats; people at the shelter knew her as momma Tina, the cat whisperer. She loved going to family functions and seeing all of her nephews and nieces, brothers and sisters and loved ones and playing practical jokes on each other.Tina always loved going camping, sitting around the fire telling stories up to the last few years; she also loved working in the garden.Gathering of friends and family will be on Wednesday, November 30 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A graveside committal service will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
