On June 10, 1985, in Durham County, North Carolina, a wonderful child was born to Bobby Sanford and Denise Gaddy. That child was named Tiyana Marie Gaddy. She was loved by everyone with whom she came into contact with. Having a good-natured spirit, Tiyana treated everyone as if they were family and this earned her the nickname, "Sunshine." As much as she loved people, she loved the Lord even more. On Saturday, March 9, 2019, God called this special woman home to glory. 

At an early age, she confessed Christ as her personal savior and joined the New Rock Spring Church of Wake Forest, North Carolina 

She obtained her formal education in the public schools of Durham County, graduating from Hillside High School. 

Her memory will be cherished by many: five amazing sons, Kanye Lunsford, Korday Lunsford, Kyree Gaddy, Kesean Gaddy and Kamron Latta; her mother and father Bobby Sanford and Denise Gaddy; two sisters Jasmaine Morton-Silver and Brittany Bethea; Grandmother Barbara Gaddy; two uncles Romey Gaddy and Jerome Gaddy; an aunt Angela Gaddy; six nieces and nephews, Jahkeem Alston, Jacari Washington, Ja'Lani Washington, Kylie Washington, Jesean Alston, Melah Silver; a brother-in-law Jessie Silver; and several other loving relatives and caring friends.
