TODD E. GILLETTE, 51 FREEPORT - Todd E. Gillette, 51, of Freeport, died Sunday, August 18, 2013, in Jo Davies County, IL. He was born on August 2, 1962, in Freeport, IL; the son of Allen and Sylvia (Marassa) Gillette. He married Deanna Shaw on September 11, 1993, in Freeport, IL. Todd was a 1980 Freeport High School graduate. He worked at Newell for 24 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, motorcycles, kids, and animals. Family was very important to him. Todd is survived by his wife, Deanna Gillette of Freeport, IL; his parents, Allen and Sylvia Gillette of Freeport, IL; his brother, Brian (Tana) Gillette of Freeport, IL; four nephews; and two great-nieces. Todd was preceded in death by his brother, Craig Gillette. A visitation for Todd will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, August 24, 2013, at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport.
