Tom HickmanFREMONT: Fremont resident, Tom Hickman, 65, passed away Saturday morning, June 10, 2017, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg.Tom was born on Nov. 15, 1951 in Fremont to Elmer and Doris (Aldrich) Kasischke Hickman. He married Karen Hendricks on July 11, 1970 and later divorced. He later married Janice Mason and divorced. Tom soon decided that marriage wasn't his thing.Tom was a member of the United Steel Workers Local 1915 for 36 years. He worked at TRW, formerly Kelsey-Hayes retiring in 2006. He was a member of the former Garfield Church of Christ in Gibsonburg. He loved to travel, visiting most states on his Harley-Davidson, including Alaska. Tom liked to fly his ultra-light and paraglider. He will be remembered for his outgoing personality and great sense of humor.Surviving are his son, Chad (Melissa) Hickman of Fremont; siblings Larry (Dalene) Hickman of Dunbridge and Melody (Jerry) Haar of Elmore; grandchildren Zachary and Brady Hickman; father Elmer (Frances) Hickman of Gibsonburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
