Tommy Lynn Ralston, 62, of Big Spring, Texas, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016. Services will be held at Nalley-Pickle and Welch Rosewood Chapel at 11 a.m. on Saturday morning with Wade Cobb officiating. A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2016, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to the Sierra Animal Clinic in Big Spring, Texas.Tom was born on Aug. 2, 1954, to John and Wanda Ralston of Wichita Falls, Texas, just a few short years after his sister, Janice Sons. He married Kelly Ralston on Jan. 12, 1991. They shared a love for laughter, Texas football, and each other. They blended families in Big Spring, Texas, where he worked as a Biomed Specialist at the VA Hospital. Tom passed on his patriotism to his three sons, all of whom served in the Marine Corps. He passed on his sense of humor and strong jawline to his two daughters. Tom was widely regarded by his five children as the best dad on the planet.Tom was a kind and funny man who enjoyed running, cooking, and tinkering. He was passionate about God, his family, and music.Tom is survived by his wife, his parents, his one sister, two daughters, three sons, one stepdaughter, four children-in-law, and 10 grandchildren. These survivors include Sarah and Ross Norton of Twentynine Palms, Calif.; Mindy Ralston of San Angelo, Texas; Andrew and Brianna Ralston of San Marcos, Texas; Jared and Jessie Ralston of Kyle, Texas; Seth and Kayla Ralston of San Marcos, Texas; and Shelly Banks of Medina, Ohio.Tom was the favorite person of many people and his three beloved pets.Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle and Welch Funeral Home and Crematory of Big Spring.
