Tommy Ray SpigenerWoodlands, TexasTommy Ray Spigener, 85, of The Woodlands, Tx. went to be with his Lord on July 19, 2017. A memorial service was held in his honor at The Woodlands First Baptist Church, The Woodlands, Tx on July 28th, 2017. Tommy was born on August 21,1931, in Athens, La., and was the youngest of seven siblings.Mr. Spigener was a Minister of Music and Education as well as Assistant Professor of Music at Northwestern State University, Nachitoches, La. and Mississippi College. He owned and operated Ray's Piano Service throughout Mississiippi and later the extended Houston area.He was survived by his wife of 59 yrs., Martha Jean Woodward Spigener of The Woodlands, Tx., however, Mrs. Spigener also passed away Aug 24, 2017. He is survived by his three daughters and their spouses, Alissa and Harold Atkinson, Jr. of La Grange, Tx.; Aimee and Chris Holmes of Mabank, Tx.; Allyson and Torrey Bingham of Conroe, Tx.; 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, a sister, two sisters in law and numerous nieces and nephews.
