Tonja Cave, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on May 6, 2024, in Augusta, Georgia. She was born on August 13, 1954, to Albert Lewis and Willa F. Herrington.

Tonja leaves behind her four children, Brittany Lewis, Cherrelle Ivy, Quintin Lewis, and Willie Lewis Sr. She was a devoted grandmother to seven grandchildren.

Tonja studied at Jenkins County High School, where she made lasting friendships and cherished memories.

Known for her infectious laughter and warm smile, Tonja will be remembered for her love of gardening, baking, and spending time with her family.

Her joyous spirit and kind heart touched the lives of all who knew her. Tonja will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
