Tony ‘Frog’ Howerton Sr., 72, of Danville, Virginia, was called home on December 28, 2024 surrounded by loved ones. Born on July 31, 1952, he was the son of the late Charlie Organ Howerton and Elizabeth Blanch Mills Howerton.

Survivors Include his wife of over 45 years Frances Howerton. Four sons Tony Howerton jr. (Anissa), Troy Howerton, Timothy Howerton, Tyrel Howerton (Crystal) all of Danville, VA. two sisters, Cecil Pinchback (John) and Clarice Broadnax of Danville, VA; One Brother, Charlie Howerton Jr. (Voryann) of Danville, Va and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Angeline H. Goods and Cheyanne Smith; two brothers, Nathaniel Howerton and Michael Ray Howerton.
