Tony Curtis Atkinson was born on January 07, 1969, to Johnny Louis Atkinson and Maggie B. McCray in Greenville, North Carolina.

Tony received his formal education in the Pitt County School System in Greenville, North Carolina.

Tony accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior in 2021 after his accident and attended Warren Chapel UAFWB Church.

Tony was united in holy matrimony to Kimberly Sherrod on January 13, 2018 in Farmville, North Carolina.

He was employed by Worthington Farms as a horticultural laborer until he was injured in a motor vehicle accident. In his leisure he enjoyed music, family, cookouts, dining, and traveling.

He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Atkinson ; his grandmother, Betsey Sheppard and his father in law, Johnny Gorham.

Tony Curtis Atkinson departed this earthly life on March 23, 2023, and leaves to cherish his memories forever: his loving wife, Kimberly Sherrod Atkinson; his children, Joyce Roundtree, Antonio Barnes Atkinson, Jasmine Pippen, and DeShekia Pippen; grandchildren, Ke’Asia Barrett, Kaylynn Barrett, Ke’Nilah Barrett, Cameron Tyson, and Jordan Daniels; his loving mother, Maggie B.
