Jones of 254 Lancaster Avenue passed away April 15, 2017 in the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.Mr. Jones was born on September 20, 1953 in Staunton, a son of the late Marion (Lucas) Jones.Tony was a member of Marquis Memorial Methodist Church and attended Parkview Christian Church. He was retired from Western State Hospital as a mail carrier and enjoyed nature and history. Tony and Susan especially loved spending time at Maria's Garden in Berkley Springs, West Virginia.Surviving is a son, Aaron Dean Jones of Churchville and Leslie Martin, and their son, Tyler Dean Jones; a daughter, Amanda Lucas Jones of Staunton; two brothers, Eddie Jones and his wife Patsy of Verona and Richard Jones of Waynesboro; a sister, Connie Eppard and her husband Jimmy of Earlysville; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.A Celebration of life will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017 in the Parkview Christian Church by Pastor Barry Creasy.It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to the , South Atlantic Division, 1445 East Rio Road, Suite 104, Charlottesville, Virginia 22901.Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of his arrangements.Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.coffmanfuneralhome.net.
