Tony Hollenback, 52, of Santa Ynez, California, passed on March 05, 2022. Tony was born on April 07, 1969.
Tony was such a beautiful person and had an enduring spirt. Tony was a devoted, son, brother, uncle, friend. He was and is loved by so many and left a legacy of placing others before himself. Tony had a gift of seeking the people who were lost, broken or needed support. Tony gave them a light to guild their way. He was a healer of the souls that ached for acceptance and validation.
Tony had a large community of friends, a "tribe". He was a leader in that tribe. He lead so many with his light. That light projected hope, grace, and beauty. Now that he has gone, the world is a little more dim. Though you had to go, we won't forget your light.
Tony was not a person you got to know –
Tony was an experience!

I also feel the world is more dim now. Tony was an extraordinary person. As a professional he was a total genius. Sweet and caring, also sharp and sometimes witty, a brilliant mind in the overall. Tony had a deep understanding of human nature, he knew how to establish connections. He just knew. Tony also knew where his heart was, and guided people around him to connect with their own hearts. My heart is now very sad, I miss Tony. At the same time I am extremely glad I had the opportunity to have him in my life. He was a gift from the divinity, that's how I will always remember him. My condolences to the family, I am very sorry for your loss.

My beautiful friend, I miss you deeply as I have been reflecting on the light that you brought to my life – the karaoke sessions in your convertible, our retreat with the Grandmothers, the countless conversations about life, growth and dreams for the future.
Your warmth and the way you always led with love showed anyone who knew you that everyday life can have a little bit of magic if you keep your heart open.
Your seemingly endless generosity of spirit, how you never showed up empty-handed and always made time no matter the external chaos were also part of your effortless magic.
Today, on your birthday, I feel so grateful for your love and your gift of friendship. Thank you.

Tony was one of the kindest and most generous persons I've ever met. He was steadfastly caring and supportive of all whom he encountered. His work as a clinical social worker brought healing and hope to many. A deeply spiritual man, he embodied and lived his values in a palpable and profound way. No one who met Tony can forget his warmth, smile, and encouraging spirit. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

My heart goes out to the Hollenback family at this time, with my deepest condolences. Some people make a special impact on the heart—Tony did that for me, and for so many others. He was an angel on earth that I have known since Social Work school. He became like a brother. Today Tony flies with the angels in heaven. We miss you!

Tony was great neighbor here at 5100, and an all around genuinely nice guy!
We'd been friends for years, and talked on a regular basis; He truly cared
about people, and he felt a special connection with New Mexico; he had
visited there a few times, and he shared with me that he would eventually
like to settle down there at some time later in his life.
Fair winds and flowing seas, old friend! I will truly miss you.

The last time I saw you was in December. So glad we got together and I had Tony time. We laughed, we celebrated and talked till the late hours catching up on life over cups of tea and cookies. Like many of your friends and family members, I’m missing you and you positive light. Still processing after 20 years of your love and friendship our martini time on this earth is complete. Looking forward to the time we will be meeting again on another energy level.

This Rumi quote below sums up how we all feel about our beloved friend Tony. He was indeed much bigger than this life. We're still so heartbroken that he is gone. Our condolences to his family during this tender time.
His superpower was his gentleness and is dearly missed. He traveled in so many different places with ease because he could relate to folks anywhere, such was his ability to understand our common humanity. For now, his spirit endures in all our memories. One day after all the sorrow, we will again have joy. With Peace & Love,

Tony was one of the kindest, most generous souls I've ever had the honor to know. Whether it was months or years between visits, he remembered my family and shared experiences. Rest in peace, my sweet friend, until we meet again.
