Here lies Tonya Mcphaul, who entered the world on March 5, 1978, and left us on July 26, 2024, in Rowland, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Keisha and Dre Mcphaul, who must have had a great sense of humor to name their daughter Tonya.
Tonya had no children of her own, but she was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews. She studied at South Robeson High School, where she probably spent more time socializing than learning, and somehow managed to graduate in 1995. She then continued her education at RCC Community College, where she probably did the same, and graduated in 1998.
After her educational escapades, Tonya found her calling working at a nursing home, where she touched the hearts of many before retiring in 2022. She had a green thumb and loved planting flowers in her spare time, although her plants never seemed to last very long. Maybe they just couldn't handle her vivacious personality.
Unfortunately, Tonya's life was cut short by sickness, which she probably caught from one of those darn plants. In the end, we'll always remember her for her infectious laughter, her love of life, and her uncanny ability to kill even the hardiest of houseplants. Rest in peace, Tonya. You may be gone, but you'll never be forgotten.
You can to the family or in memory of Tonya Mcphaul.
