On December 10, 2025, Staten Island, New York mourned the loss of a beloved member of its community, Tonya Moore. She was born on April 8, 1963, and was the loving partner of Carl Pettis. Tonya was a devoted mother to her son, Erik McManus, and a proud grandmother to her two grandchildren.

Tonya had a passion for keeping things tidy and took great joy in cleaning. She was known for her meticulous attention to detail and her dedication to maintaining a clean and organized home.

Tragically, Tonya passed away after a brave battle with Stage 2 Lung Cancer. Her courage and strength throughout her illness inspired all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and community.

Although Tonya is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace.
