Trecia Summerville, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on May 5, 2024, in Long Beach, California. She was born on August 1, 1972, to her parents John Albert Younge and Norma Ferguson.

Trecia leaves behind her partner Rai, whom she shared many wonderful memories with. Together, they raised three children: Zhanell Summerville, Leroy Jones, and Malcolm Summerville. She was also blessed with a grandchild.

Trecia attended Paramount High School and graduated in 1990. Her passion for helping others led her to pursue a career in nursing, where she dedicated her life to caring for those in need. She worked at the City of Los Angeles Recreation Department, where she touched the lives of many with her kindness and compassion.

Despite facing challenges in her health, Trecia remained strong and resilient. She fought bravely against Multiple Myeloma, showing incredible perseverance and determination until the very end.

Her warm smile, generous spirit, and unwavering love will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Trecia Summerville leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
